Article 1
Application of These Terms
These Terms and Conditions govern the services provided by Pedro Fernández, trading as NORTH SPAIN (the “Service Provider”). All services provided by the Service Provider are subject to these Terms and Conditions. The Service Provider reserves the right to amend these Terms and Conditions at its discretion, at any time and without prior notice. By booking or using any service, the customer enters into a contractual relationship with the Service Provider and is deemed to have accepted all provisions of these Terms and Conditions.
Article 2
Nature and Scope of Services
Pedro Fernández is duly registered as a self-employed professional under Spanish law, with private tour-guiding services as his principal activity. The Service Provider's activities include tourist guiding, interpreting and translation, as well as other related services.

About This Website
This website (https://www.north-spain.com) and all content and materials published on it, including its design, logo, text, videos, images, photographs and audio, are the property of Pedro Fernández and are protected by the copyright and intellectual property laws of Spain and applicable international law. Any unauthorised reproduction, republication, reuse or distribution of such materials is strictly prohibited.
Article 4
Disclaimer of Liability
The Service Provider accepts no legal or financial liability whatsoever for theft, robbery, food poisoning, illness, injury, death or any other incident occurring during the use of services provided by the Service Provider. The Service Provider likewise accepts no liability, and no refund will be issued, where services must be changed or cancelled due to adverse weather conditions, natural disasters (including floods, fires, earthquakes and typhoons), strikes, riots, terrorism, construction works or other similar circumstances. Furthermore, where services are changed or cancelled due to circumstances or negligence attributable to third parties (including other companies, organisations or institutions), the Service Provider accepts no liability whatsoever and no refund will be issued.
In preparation for such unforeseen circumstances, the Service Provider strongly recommends that customers take out comprehensive travel insurance.
Article 5
Use of the Information Provided
Any information and advice contained on this website or in emails sent by the Service Provider are provided for reference purposes only. The Service Provider does not warrant the completeness or accuracy of such information. Local conditions, regulations and procedures may change or may be subject to different interpretations.
The Service Provider accepts no legal or financial liability for any loss or damage arising from the foregoing, and no refund of service fees will be made.
Article 6
Handling of Personal Information
The Service Provider fully recognises the importance of protecting personal information and regards its proper handling and protection as a fundamental principle of its business operations. When collecting personal information, the Service Provider will clearly specify the purpose for which it is collected and use it only within the scope of that purpose. Personal information collected will be used solely for the performance of the contract or for the preparation of a tour in accordance with the customer's requests, and will not be disclosed to any third party without the individual's consent, except where there are legitimate grounds for doing so.
Article 7
Service Cancellation Policy
If a booking is cancelled in whole or in part by the customer, the following cancellation charges shall apply:
- 14 days or more before the service date: No cancellation charge
- 13 to 8 days before the service date: 50% cancellation charge
- 7 days or fewer before the service date: 100% cancellation charge
- Any costs relating to services already arranged (including food and drink, accommodation, transport, tickets, admission fees, etc.) are payable in full regardless of the cancellation date.
The Service Provider also reserves the right to change or cancel a service for legitimate reasons, such as serious illness. Where a change or cancellation is unavoidable, the Service Provider will endeavour to notify the customer as promptly as possible; however, under no circumstances will the Service Provider be obliged to pay compensation for emotional distress.
Each service will begin at the scheduled time. If a customer is unable to participate because they arrive late for the scheduled start time, no refund will be made.
Article 8
Costs and Advance Payments
Any costs listed for each service, including admission fees, transport, food and drink and similar expenses (including those relating to the guide), are not included in the guiding fee and must be paid separately by the customer. The Service Provider may also arrange tickets, restaurant reservations, hotel bookings, shows and transport on the customer's behalf. In such cases, the full related cost must be paid in advance. Any sums paid in respect of such arrangements are non-refundable under any circumstances.
